During mainbill (i.e. non-Festival) times, BATS is programmed 6-8 months ahead. Unlike many other theatres we don’t have special application forms or certain dates to meet, but we do recommend going through our checklists and information packs.
We do have deadlines in place for Fringe, the NZ International Comedy Festival and STAB though!
The deadlines for 2013 were:
Fringe: 28th September 2012
NZ International Comedy Festival: 19th October 2012
STAB: 23rd November 2012
We expect the dates for 2014 will be similar.
These usually call for proposals as well as a meeting with our Programme Manager, keep an eye on our Facebook page for call outs or check back here closer to the time. Do also check out the dedicated Festivals tab as that will give you a whole heap more information too.
