Shakespeare’s women have had it rough. It’s time for a change.

Thought to be dead, Hermione (A Winter’s Tale) has escaped from jail and is searching for her lost daughter. On the road she meets fierce wahine toa dealing with their sh*t narratives.

It’s time to start rewriting these women’s stories from a new perspective. This Long Winter is an intelligent, poignant and remarkably funny play from one of Aotearoa’s strongest voices.
