Well renowned actor and theatre-maker Kip Chapman teamed up with award-winning designer Brad Knewstubb to create HACKMAN more than 20 years ago and the ‘space obsessed’ duo created hugely popular APOLLO 13: Mission Control (BATS STAB Commission, 2008) and are back with a world premiere of a new immersive experience Destination Mars.
With support from Epic Games (makers of Fortnite), Destination Mars uses Epic’s Unreal Engine in a way they’ve never seen before.
Seated within a giant dome environment, Destination Mars is an experience that will have participants completely immersed in a high stakes space mission set on the planet Mars in 2034. Audiences will follow the instructions of the crew, attend to the console, collaborate, or marvel as the action unfolds.
This 45-minute experience is made for grown-ups and intrepid kids (6+) alike. High-tech yet full of heart, Destination Mars will take participants on an unforgettable journey to the depths of space and back.
