BATS at Alert Level 2: Delta Edition
With extra precautions in place due to Delta, this Alert Level 2 may look a little different to last time. We want you to all feel and be happy and safe at BATS - please read the below to better prepare for your next trip to BATS. We can’t wait to see you!
Before You Arrive
A great way to arrive at BATS prepared to have the best time ever.
- Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell, if you are experiencing flu and cold-like symptoms, are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, have returned from overseas or have been to any current locations of interest.
- If you are sick please contact our Front of House team at [email protected] to discuss your booking. There will be multiple options available to you depending on the show and/or your circumstances
- Don’t forget to bring a mask with you! There will be disposable masks available for those that do not have one, but we encourage you all to bring your own. Masks may only be temporarily removed when you are eating or drinking. Visitors with a medical exemption are not required to wear a mask
- We’ve upped our cleaning and sanitising protocols - this includes spacing out performances so that our staff have adequate time to clean between groups
- If you are not planning to get a drink beforehand, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before the show begins, so you can be shown directly to your seat in the theatre
At BATS
- The BATS Front of House team and show crew will all be wearing masks
- You must sign in when you arrive - either by scanning our QR code or manually
- When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a member of BATS' Front of House team and will either be shown to a table at the bar, or directed to the box office
- We’ve introduced ticket scanners, minimising contact between you and our ushers. You can just show us your ticket on your phone (ooh so high tech!)
- We’ve limited the capacity of our theatre spaces to allow for physical distancing
- We ask that you maintain at least 1 meter of distance from anyone not in your ‘bubble’
- Please listen to the guidance of our awesome Front of House staff - we are doing our best to work with the current guidelines so that you get to enjoy some live art
- There will be extra signage around the building to help remind you of what and where you should be
In the Bar
- Operating at limited capacity with table service only
- We are running a digital QR code menu, allowing you to order from your table and limit close contact with staff
- Because of our limited space we ask that you are considerate to other patrons. Close to show time, after you have been served we ask that you move from your table to your seat in the theatre, if there are others waiting
- Please note that due to our limited space, only those attending a show are able to join us in the bar under Level 2.
