BEASTS FOUND AT WELLINGTON THEATRE
Horse With No Name presents
Fab Beasts
By Catriona Tipene and Ryan Cundy
They’ve polished their hooves, and sharpened their canines: Fab Beasts, by award-winning theatre company Horse With No Name, is cantering onto the BATS Theatre stage from the 1st to the 5th of November.
A show of two parts, Fab Beasts is a playful creature that will make you roar with laughter. We will plunge you into the turbulent office politics of Unicorn Property Management, where old lovers and friendships flounder with the ultimatum of “two of every kind” being able to live. Then you’ll come up for air by the side of Loch Ness, where Detective Ness is racing to solve a string of grisly murders. On the way to catching the killer, Ness will face her scariest devil yet - the patriarchy. Can Ness do it all? Or has something gotta give?
Winner of the award for “Spectacular Organised Chaos” in the 2021 NZ Fringe, nominated for “Pure Joy”, and written by Playmarket award winning playwrights Catriona Tipene and Ryan Cundy, this show is a comedy that will enchant and delight! We’re coming back bigger and biggerer, to have a Loch load of fun. After a sold out season last year, be sure to tap with your talons over to the BATS theatre site to book tickets soon!
If you have a keen sense for justice, equity and mystery, then Fab Beasts should be scratched in your diary.
