This is a casual position on an 'as-needed' basis with shifts increasing during busy festival periods.

- Team Leadership: Direct, support, and delegate tasks to front-of-house staff to ensure high service standards (if applicable as usually there will be one sometimes two people on the bar)
- Customer Resolution: Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints on the spot, and manage escalated issues calmly.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols and legal requirements, including host responsibility under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act.
- Financial Reporting: Manage cash registers, reconcile shift earnings, and complete precise daily reports.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or senior role within hospitality, retail, or events.
- Valid Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) and Manager's Certificate (for licensed premises).
- Availability to work irregular hours, including late nights and weekends with advanced notice.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Available to work weekends
- Confident in working independently and able to create a welcome environment for patrons
This is a great opportunity to be part of a unique theatre bar that is in the middle of reshaping so consider this your change to contribute to a creative, community-focused space.
