TECH Manager WANTED
BATS Theatre is seeking a Technical Manager to lead our technical department and support the delivery of an exciting and diverse programme of live performance.
We’re looking for someone who is not only technically capable, but also a strong communicator and collaborative leader — someone who can work effectively with artists, staff, and contractors, and bring clarity, organisation, and care to the role.
The ideal candidate will have:
- experience working within a technical theatre environment
- strong communication and people management skills
- the ability to manage budgets and work within financial parameters
- a highly organised and transparent approach to systems and processes
- a genuine passion for the arts and supporting creative work
This is a key role within BATS, helping to ensure our theatre continues to be a vibrant, well-run, and supportive space for artists and audiences alike.
