Adriana Calabrese

Adriana Calabrese is a trained singer, actor and dancer, with a Bachelor of Creativity, majoring in Performing Arts/Musical Theatre. Calabrese graduated from Whitireia (Te Auaha) in 2022, and has since performed in Te Whanganui-a-Tara in a number of professional and award-nominated productions.
Her most notable credits include her professional debut in 2024 at Circa Theatre, in back-to-back seasons of Sense and Sensibility as 'Elinor Dashwood', and WITCH Music Theatre’s production of LIZZIE as the swing for both leads; ‘Lizzie’ and ‘Alice’. She has also appeared in WITCH’s Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (2024) along with three award-nominated NZ Fringe shows, After the Storm (2024), ONE BEDROOM AVAILABLE (2024) and Lift-Off! (2023).
Later this year, Adriana is excited to be joining WITCH Music Theatre in their upcoming production of Amélie as ‘Gina', along with P I V O T in their immersive season of ONE BEDROOM AVAILABLE IN SUPER FRIENDLY DEFINITELY NOT SCARY FLAT $280 PER WEEK EXCLUDING EXPENSES (HALLOWEEN EDITION).
Alongside performing, Adriana has a love of marketing and bringing great work to large audiences. In 2023, she co-marketed Te Auaha's season of Lift-Off! which kick-started her journey in Arts marketing. Since then, she has worked on marketing two of her headlining concerts, Adriana Calabrese at Gardens Magic (2024) and her Live at Bedlam & Squalor - A Fundraiser Gig for the Brazil Floods (2024) which she also produced.
