Aroha Morrison (she/they) is an actress, physical theatre performer, and creator based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. A 2025 graduate from Whitireia’s Bachelor of Creativity in Performing Arts, they are inspired by their family, and weird abstract art that "means something." She is also artistic director of theatre company Salty Lizard Productions.
Their work wrestles with questions of home, identity, and confronting pain. Her creative juices buzz during moments of utter absurdity!
Recent projects include 2025 commercial campaign, ‘Ghosting,’ and award - winning 2025 Fringe show ‘Entry: Encounter’ by Untitled Warehouse Project.
