We wanna let loose with you all after our two month maintenance period, with our first ever BATS KLUB NIGHT.

A sibling duo repping the Wellington Collective 6ixHand, Kayseeyuh and AverageJay bring an electrifying sound to any space they play in. With a background in dance and music, the smooth but banging transitions and unique mixing of the duo will keep you grooving till the last beat drop.

Playing guaranteed bangers from local to international artists, you'll understand why with 6ixHand, the party never ends.

Stefrose brings their LA turntablist roots to Te Whanganui-a-Tara, establishing an iconic style of smooth blends and slick transitions amongst Pōneke gig space. Inspired by their cultural diaspora, Stefrose melds sounds from various influences: bboy breakbeats, bay area, b-more, electrofunk, club house, latin cumbia / reggaeton, kpop and city pop, and r&b edits that get the crowd singing along and poppin' booty.

Nick Chugs (aka Hāmi Hawkins, Ngāti Kahungunu) brings a sort of "dancing alone in your bedroom at 3am" to the dancefloor that the party people can really vibe with.

With a background in music and live performance design, Nick Chugs knows how to set a mood and carry the crowd through to good vibes with his grooves and chunes. Spinning tracks across genres (from house to pop to UK garage to rock and everything in between) there’s something for everyone… y'all ain't ready for our resident BATSman.

Our Karaoke Host is Slay West!

Slay West is a karaoke queen who started hosting karaoke at Ivy Bar fortnightly. She became a TIWHA, a Māori Drag Girl Group who had their debut during NZ Fringe Festival at BATS two years ago! Since then they have toured around the country, performing at Auckland Live, Big Gay Out, CubaDupa and the list goes on 💅. Slay is one of Wellington’s best hosts, and is here to bring the party to BATS Theatre. Come sing and dance with your giiiiirl Slay West!

All money made from this event goes towards fundraising for BATS.

This is an R18 event. Accepted forms of ID are valid passport, Current NZ Drivers Licence, Kiwi Access. Card, Valid 18+ card.
