In 2021, the pekapeka-tou-roa (long-tailed bat) won New Zealand’s Bird of the Year – despite being a mammal, and not at all a bird.
In this absurdist storytelling show, Brynley Stent dissects how this furry underdog pulled off the greatest con of the century. Brynley Stent is an award-winning comedian who has appeared on such shows as Taskmaster NZ, 7 Days, Viva La dirt League and Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-Spelling Bee.
