Dinosaurs - Music Release

Katreena Erin's New Single

Join us in celebrating the release of Katreena Erin's next single, Dinosaurs. Come along for an evening of intimate folk music, including a sneak peek preview of the song before it's officially released!

Dinosaurs will also be performed live for the first time.

Katreena Erin is a Wellington born singer, songwriter and visual artist. Her music and art are deeply spiritual, often exploring themes of spirit and love.

Personal yet universal, her songs range from dreamy and biopic interspersed with touches of light humour - to haunting and sometimes other-worldly.

I was blown away by her capacity to evoke emotion through her songwriting and delivery. It was a beautiful, intimate concert that had a strong impact on me and the rest of the audience (goosebumps rose and tears fell).
Thomas Corn - Head of Media Production, Weta Workshop

The evening will begin with husband and wife duo, Hannah Owen Wright and Mandeep Singh - their multilingual acoustic singer-songwriter duets weave glorious harmonies, synergy and emotion. Hannah's outstanding powerhouse vocals perfectly compliment Mandeep's soulful, emotive melodies.

Katreena will perform her set predominantly accompanied by Hannah on piano and vocals, as well as additional friends throughout the evening.

You can listen to Katreena and Hannah performing her song - Ghost in a beautiful Wellington chapel below:

She has a strong voice with clear definition and intention. Her use of melody and the tone of her lyrics can seem almost fragile at first but subtly develop into stories that encompass a far grander and sometimes threatening vision...There is a menacing beauty to what she does; like a rose, the thorn is always nearby.
