El Colibrí

After a successful development in Toi Whakaari's 2025 Whanake Festival, Society for Little Ugly Girls (S.L.U.G Theatre) presents the debut season of El Colibrí -
Written and directed by Puerto Rican artist Elia Correa, with directoral support from Molly Macalister.
Three sisters reunite at their family home in Puerto Rico. Tensions rise as they try to hide from the memories that fill the house, each other, and the circumstances that brought them together, and are left to discuss their connections to language, culture, and family.
Also... There's frogs!
