Award-winning performance “Flamencodanza”- an inspired, powerful and elegant show of Flamenco dance and guitar by Aylin Bayaz and Raul Mannola.

Flamencodanza is a project that started five years ago at the Avignon Fringe in France, and has now reached a point where different elements fuse together in a unique manner producing an award winning, surprising show full of energy, beauty and inspiration. Elements of flamenco, Brazilian music and jazz give the music a variety of colors. The passionate dancing is based on flamenco, with it's fiery footwork, and integrates elements from ballet and contemporary.

Premiered at the Avignon Festival in 2021, the show has trajectory and potential, and has been performed on several stages in Spain, France, Australia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, UK and the USA.
With a trajectory of decades as a professional guitarist, Raul has an extensive discography of Flamenco and Fusion. The music composed for Flamencodanza is based on Flamenco, including modern elements and Brazilian colours.

The contemporary Flamenco dance of Aylin is made of strength, elegance and delicacy.
The show won the award of “Best Dance and Physical theatre show of the Hollywood Fringe 2022”.

Aylin Bayaz is a contemporary Flamenco dancer based in Madrid. She trained at the Amor De Dios Studios and performed in "Tablaos Flamencos" in Madrid, and later moved to Barcelona to complete her MA in Dance at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona in 2018. Her duo show "Flamencodanza" was premiered in Avignon, France, in 2021, and won the prize "Best Show of Dance and Physical theatre" at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, 2022. She has performed internationally as a solo dancer (Spain, France, Italy, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Finland and Czech Republic), accompanied by excellent Flamenco artists e.g. Antonio Sánchez, nephew of late Paco de Lucía. She participated in the 75th & 76th Dance-forms International Choreographers Showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe festival performing alongside principals of Royal Ballet of Birmingham and London. She has taught Flamenco dance at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona and the MOVEIT Show in London. Her style is elegant, powerful and delicate. What mostly defines her performing is that it is enjoyed by audiences whichever the country or stage. Her work is a synthesis of Flamenco, ballet and contemporary.

Raúl Mannola (Buenos Aires, 1963) is a flamenco guitarist with a jazz background, he studied with flamenco guitar master Manolo Sanlúcar. He has dedicated more than 30 years to the study of flamenco guitar and released 10 solo albums. The album “Clear Dawn” with his Jazz fusion group “Aurora Clara” received excellent reviews internationally. He worked as a flamenco guitar teacher at the Madrid Music Conservatory during 10 years.
