Gauntlet Prom: The Musical
presented by Nemesis Productions
“Get your gauntlets - it’s the most important night of your lives!”
At Pinnacle Academy, future heroes and villains prepare for epic downtown battles. To secure their top choice of sponsor, they’ll need a compelling rivalry. And what better place to throw down the gauntlet and secure the nemesis of their dreams than prom?
Gauntlet Prom is a campy, high-energy comedy musical about the pressures of superhero high school; who to team up with, and how to find your one true nemesis.
Will the school power rivalry finally throw the gauntlet and make it official? Will the lone hero ever find a nemesis? Will the reputation of the academy survive its graduating class?

“Extremely witty and queer, a delightful play on romantic, highschool and superhero tropes.”

image description
Grey stone textured school crest with the letters 'PA' for pinnacle academy overlaying a purple brick textured background. The school crest has been iconically vandalised by each main character of the show: the right top corner is burning away with black charred edges and smoke for Ember, the villain with fire powers, the left top corner has been frozen very dramatically with protruding ice chunks and some background snow for Crystal, the ice superhero. Overlaying the bottom of the crest are some green, glowing, cartoon-style speed lines with three cloud puffs around them, for Nessper, a sidekick, who presumably ran really fast around the logo in lieu of actual vandalism. Strange choice, but it sure looks cool! And then the actual stone crest seems to have been graffitied by actual pieces of light, with a little sunglasses face in the bottom right corner and the letters "C + N" in the other corner. Finally, on top of the poster are the words 'Gauntlet Prom' and on the bottom are the extra details: '6:30 to 7:30, 23rd to 27th June, Bats theatre: The Stage'. Both of these are in a fancy font.
