Each with about a decade of improv experience under their belts, Criss and Vinny will take the audience on a joy ride through an unscripted police drama, hitting all the iconic beats: tough partners, car chases, high-stakes investigations, and musical STINGS.
Creative Team
Vincent Andrew Scammel: Toi Whakaari graduate Vinny is an actor and co-Artistic Director of Bull Rush. His acclaimed comedy festival credits include solo show The Myth-Adventures and duo show Hot Pursuit. He co-hosts the Problemz podcast, performs weekly at Auckland’s Basement Theatre, and teaches narrative-focused improv workshops both throughout New Zealand and internationally.
Criss Grueber: Criss Grueber is an Ōtautahi based performer most known for his work with The Court Jesters over the last 15 years as a musician, musical director and an improvisor. His overlapping experience with music and comedy has lead him to nominations for his work in New Zealand Comedy Fest and found him joining and creating several shows and projects such as HOT PURSUIT, Dream Team, LORT in 90 minutes, FolkTales, Scared Scriptless and many more. Criss has toured extensively across NZ, the UK and Australia with award winning shows and his trusty banjo over the last few years!
