Mad Like Me Roadshow
Are you mad like me? Come watch a podcast being recorded... LIVE! 6:30pm–9:00pm Fri 9 Feb 2024
Sit back, relax and be prepared to laugh, cry and learn about the lived experiences of everyday humans and their mental health.
Similar to a theatre show or a live panel, we'll be recording a podcast episode - right in front of you!
Mad Like Me is a space where we can talk to people about the lived realities of mental health, well-being and life. It's funny, honest and real - no celebrity stories of how "I had depression and now I climb 6 mountains a week..." We focus on the everyday human experiences of living life.
We were inspired to take our second season of Mad Like Me on the road and record our shows in front of a live audience. It's important for us to get into the heart of our communities and to connect with as many people as possible. We know this will go a long way to help end discrimination for those who experience any form of mental illness or distress. The more we share our stories, the more we can normalise what doesn't always feel normal.
We'll be interviewing local guests in each town, sharing how kindness is truly the answer AND giving away swag bags to all those who register for the event.
If you know what it means to laugh or you'll cry, are passionate about creating safer mental health spaces and keen to learn more about your fellow humans - then this is the show for you!
A big shout out to Nōku te Ao for funding this tour - we couldn't do this without you!
