The Alexander Technique for Performers

The workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of the Alexander Technique method.
Throughout our lives, we use our bodies in particular ways that are formed by habit (brains are naturally lazy), and we often don't think about how best to use what we've got (our design) to our best advantage. The technique supports any person, particularly those that use complex movement, to improve their general use and coordination. The advantages to using the technique find performers enjoying their activity more fully while they deliver a more embodied performance.
You'll leave with an understanding of what the Alexander Technique is about, and how the method can support you in daily life or performing.
