Anastaisa Matteini-Roberts

Anastasia is a director and actor with a BA and MFA in theatre from Victoria University. She has taught drama in NZ and China and studied Commedia Dell'Arte in Milan,Italy. Their numerous directing credits include Celestial Nobodies (2021), Twelfth Night (2019), and Mambo Italiano (2016), all at Wellington’s BATS Theatre. Anastasia’s directing of Twelfth Night was celebrated by Theatreview: “… Getting so much out of a big, super-creative team, for brilliant comic devices at all levels…”
