Ayush Aditya

Ayush Aditya is a West Auckland-raised Actor/Writer. He is a recent graduate of Toi Whakaari and studied at the University of Auckland. While at university, he trained under Auckland Theatre Company and appeared in two productions: The Adults Are Talking and Manatees. During his second year at Drama school, Ayush made his live performance debut in Dawn Raids by Pacific Underground. In 2025, he appeared on screen in the NZIFF feature film Workmates directed by Curtis Vowell. More recently, he will be seen in the upcoming short 'Yes David' (2026) , directed by Ghazaleh Gol and the upcoming feature film FishHead (2026) In 2025, Ayush co-created Mic Drop, a hip-hop musical, which was awarded the Playmarket Theatremakers Award and shortlisted for the Playmarket B425 Playwright’s award. Alongside his own projects, he has collaborated with peers across theatre and film, expanding his practice and strengthening his commitment to creating bold, innovative work for stage and screen. Ayush is represented by Gail Cowan Management.
