Ben Kelly
Sound Design, Director, Actor, Composer
Ben is a Wellington based composer and sound designer. Initially from Ōtautahi Christchurch, Ben started learning classical piano at a young age, moving to studying jazz at university. He graduated from the New Zealand School of Music with a Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz Performance in 2022, as well as a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Theatre. Ben now works as a composer/sound designer for a wide variety of projects in different fields including film, theatre and video games.
Ben has previously worked on the award winning Skin Tight, performed at Circa Theatre in late 2022. As well as the double award winning How to Write an Album in 12 Hours in the 2018 Wellington Fringe. Ben recently worked on the award winning ratKing, the multi-award winning OnlyBones v1.10, and the award winning One Night Band.
