Will McMorran is an actor, stage & production manager based in Wellington, New Zealand. He has experience working in a range of theatre genres, venues and collaborative groups. Will honed his craft at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Theatre and Film, and a Master of Fine Arts with Distinction in Theatre.
Will enjoys logistically challenging projects as it allows him to flex his creative muscles in problem-solving. His recent experience includes: The Rover (VUW, 2024 – Actor, Rehearsal Stage Manager), Verdict (Requiem Productions, 2024 – Stage Manager), Don’t Look Now (Theatre for Climate, 2025, touring – Stage Manager), Youltide (Stage Whisper Productions, 2025 - Stage Manager), Ecz-Asth-Perated Fever (Absurd Degree Productions, 2026 - Actor), Crocodilian Oblivion (Kindred Spirits, 2026 - Production Manager) & Don't Look Now (Theatre for Climate, 2026 - Stage Manager).
Will prides himself on his reliability, consistency and organisation. He has enjoyed working with a range of collaborators during his degrees and in the beginning of his professional career, and is always aspiring to be a friendly and dependable collaborator who prioritises the well-being of his collaborators.
